Stanley Works

Stanley Works was founded in New Britain, CT, in 1843, and has grown into a global manufacturer of power tools, hardware and security products. In recent years, the company has laid of thousands of workers, including at its plant in New Britain. Employees there work in a new facility, but are surrounded by the old, abandoned factory.
