Another Lost City Ghost

From Dave Brigham:

The Circle Supply Company moved out of this location in Watertown, Mass., to a building about half a mile away. At one time, this factory housed the Textile Thread Company, which made cotton and linen threads and twines. Circle Supply Ghost Sign

This building is in the section of Watertown I've come to refer to as The Lost City. For more about this area, see my recent post, "Rebuilding the Lost City: SECOND UPDATE."

  1. Was fabric the major industry in the Lost City section? Watertown seemed to have a diverse range of industries. From arsenal to fabric!

Oh I just remembered, there's a toilet museum in Watertown. (Excuse me, the Plumbing Museum) If you fancy, could you try there?!

  2. I don't know how major fabrics were in Watertown. The arsenal was a HUGE presence, and still is. As for the toilet museum, I know where it is, maybe I'll check it out one of these days.
